Some of them are funny, others sad or frustrating. But I find that the experiences we have as wheelchair users traveling around the world are unique enough to make for some real zingers &#8211; and tear-jerkers.<\/p>\n<p>This podcast series called &#8220;Storytelling&#8221; will contain three stories per episode of the different crazy things I&#8217;ve come across in my world travels. Often they focus on the amazing people I meet, or how I&#8217;ve been able to overcome barriers to accessibility in different parts of the world. In this episode, I&#8217;ll tell you how my best friend and I made lemonade out of lemons when we discovered a full-day tour in Ireland was not accessible as we had been told, how much panic ensued when I had a train cancelled and thought I&#8217;d be left on one in Norway, and about the kind heart of a tour guide in Dubai.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every travel experience creates at least one story.
