Spend your sea days and evenings relaxing aboard Royal Caribbean’s awe-inspiring Oasis of the Seas, one of the most wheelchair accessible cruise ships in the world. Click HERE to view all the amazing accessibility features on board the Oasis, including pool lifts, lowered bar and casino tables, and push-button access to public restrooms.
Royal Caribbean ships are known for their spacious accessible cabins, which means even two wheelchair users can share the space. Our group includes the choice of an inside cabin, Boardwalk view balcony, and ocean view balcony (all double occupancy). Guests can choose either a queen bed or two twin bed configurations, both of which can accommodate a hoist/lift underneath if necessary. Please contact us for more details about the cabins, or if you’d like to add a non-accessible cabin to your reservation (at a non-group price) for friends/family accompanying you.
You’ll depart from Barcelona on June 2, 2019, and visit exciting ports of call, including Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Marseille (France), Florence/Pisa (Italy), Rome (Italy), and Naples (Italy) before returning to beautiful Barcelona. Please click HERE for a detailed day-by-day itinerary.Â
My agency, Spin the Globe/Travel, has partnered with Accessible Travel Solutions to offer you at least one fully wheelchair accessible tour option at every port. The Oasis of the Seas docks at every port in this itinerary, which means everyone can get off the ship. Shore excursions are optional (prices and tour details to be provided closer to the sailing date), so you’re also free to explore on your own.
Spin the Globe/Travel has also partnered with Disabled Accessible Travel to help you extend your stay in Barcelona, one of the most wheelchair accessible cities in Europe. We can assist with arranging accessible accommodations, airport/port transfers, and local tours during your stay. Disabled Accessible Travel also offers mobility and medical equipment rental. They will deliver manual wheelchairs, scooters, hoists, and more straight to your cabin right before departure and collect it at the conclusion of your cruise.
This is an amazing opportunity to explore some of Europe’s most captivating cities from the comfort of your wheelchair or scooter. You will also be taking advantage of a discounted cruise fare for being part of our group. Royal Caribbean and our accessible travel partners are committed to helping Spin the Globe/Travel provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience! You can rest easy knowing your accessibility needs are being taken into account from departure to arrival and back.
Book your wheelchair accessible cabin now to guarantee your spot!
There are currently three cabin classes available in our block (interior, ocean view, and ocean view balcony) and prices vary. Please contact Spin the Globe/Travel at [email protected] for your discounted group quote, which will include cruise fare, taxes, and port fees. Ask us about adding airfare through the Royal Caribbean Air2Sea program, which guarantees the lowest fares to your port of departure. US and Canadian citizens are eligible to purchase trip insurance through Royal Caribbean or independently with Spin the Globe/Travel. Restricted/special diets can be accommodated upon request through Royal Caribbean. All accessible shore excursions are optional, and prices will be quoted when the number of participants has been finalized. Cruise add-ons like prepaid gratuities, beverage and Internet packages, spa treatments, etc. are the responsibility of the traveler.
