REVIEW: Sheraton Wall Centre, Vancouver

ACCESSIBILITY SCORE – 5/5

My best friend and I stayed at this Sheraton on two separate nights bookending a cruise to Alaska out of the nearby port. When I made the reservations, I was under the impression the room would have only an accessible bathtub. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the bathroom had a full roll-in shower!  The entire hotel was very easy to get into and out of, and the room had ample space to maneuver around in my scooter. The bathroom was on the small side, but the shower was wonderful and I was able to get around the toilet in the sink with only a minor amount of trouble. The valet was absolutely fantastic in getting us wheelchair taxis whenever we needed one, and because there are so many in the city, we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for one to appear. The hotel is centrally located, so we were able to see much of the city without even needing a taxi. The bar and restaurant were fully accessible, and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended for your next visit to Vancouver!
